2021 was a busy year for Cross Timbers worship as we challenged ourselves to write an entire album in less than two months and record a live version of the album with the help of a few hundred of our favorite people singing along.
In the summer of 2021, we finished writing and invited everyone we knew to show up at the recording. It was an incredible experience! The songs were recorded during two live sessions in the round, with room mics surrounding us to pick up the audience and the band in the center. If you were a part of it, we want to say Thank YOU! We released Hope in the Hurting in January of 2022.
